Calling song/stridulation from a male European Tree-cricket (Oecanthus pellucens) in calcareous grassland dominated by Rock Samphire (Crithmum maritimum) at base of limestone cliffs. Repeated melodic echemes composed of 8-21 syllables (0.29-0.72 sec) repeated around 60 times per minute at 22°C. Carrier wave frequency at 2.6 kHz. Over 50 males singing along one small stretch of coastline here.
