 European Honey-buzzard  Pernis apivorus

Teremiski, Bialowieza Forest, Poland   52º 44' 39.6'' N  23º 45' 14.3'' E   29 June 2009, 1310h

Territorial/breeding calls of a pair in mature, mixed forest; one uttering a melancholic 'whee-ee-loo' and the other responding with a longer 'whee-ooo'.
